Vegan Caramel Almond Loaf
This vegan caramel almond loaf is a healthy treat the entire family will enjoy. Have it for breakfast or as a dessert.
Vegan Caramel Almond Loaf

- 2 Tbsp ground flaxseed
- 160 g apple sauce
- 110 g Sweet Freedom CARAMEL SYRUP
- 80 g nut butter
- 2 Tbsp plant milk
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 50 g oat flour
- 70 g plain flour
- 10 g flaked almonds
Method
In a small bowl, mix together the flaxseed and 6 tablespoonfuls water. Let sit for 10 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 170°C and line a loaf tin with baking parchment.
In a bowl, mix together the flaxseed, apple sauce, caramel syrup, nut butter, and plant milk. Then mix in the baking powder and flours.
Pour into the loaf tin and top with the flaked almonds.
Bake for 35 minutes, or until golden.
Leave to cool in the tin for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
