With cider-caramel “cream”, “custard buttercream”, and cinnamon icing, this true ode to autumn created by the founder of the Little Green Vegan Bakery wowed voters and PETA judges alike. Her soft, moist sponge cake flavoured with apple pieces, cinnamon, and cider is inspired.
We were inundated with terrific cruelty-free dishes this year. Bakers from all backgrounds put their skills to the test and shared their favourite vegan creations with us.
