University of Leicester
The University of Leicester is holding two free tasting events for World Vegan Month to encourage everyone to try delicious vegan meals. It is also giving away copies of PETA’s vegan starter kit at its vegan café, The Pantry.

This beautiful PETA Vegan Food Award–winning restaurant is offering a 50% discount on its vegan afternoon teas until 10 November.
2021
Bross Bagels
All three locations in Edinburgh served 100% vegan food and drinks on World Vegan Day (1 November). The restaurants’ standard menus include epic vegan bagel fillings such as THIS Isn’t Chicken, plant-based Lorne sausage, and Applewood vegan cheese.
Cardiff University
On World Vegan Day, the university opened Green Shoots Cafe, the first vegetarian café on campus, which also serves vegan options. And to celebrate World Vegan Month, there will be vegan events including food giveaways, a three-course dinner, and live cookery demonstrations.

To celebrate World Vegan Month, the budget supermarket is offering students 50% off a huge range of vegan products from top brands including Oumph!, Like Meat, Fry’s, and No Meat. To receive the discount, you’ll need a student ID and the Iceland Bonus Card app.
