We’ve got all the tools you need to make your stream pop on social media and Twitch. Enhance your stream for animals by dropping some sick soundbites that’ll wow your viewers. Get ready to slay!

• What is PETA?
  PETA means People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, and members and supporters of PETA entities – there are over 9 million of them around the globe – make up the biggest animal rights crew worldwide. We are dead serious about crushing speciesism, which is when humans think they’re better than other animals. Our focus? The worst places where animals suffer: laboratories, the food industry, the clothing trade, and the entertainment business. Our undercover heroes and cruelty caseworkers are out there exposing and campaigning against horrific abuse. They’re giving dogs, rabbits, and countless other animals a chance at a life that’s free from cruelty, exploitation, and neglect.

• What is the Stream for Animals?
  PETA’s Stream for Animals is the ultimate chance to dedicate your livestream event to helping animals and spread the word about animal rights. And guess what? You’ll be raising funds to support our game-changing programmes and campaigns. Let’s make a difference together!

• What can I stream?
  The sky’s the limit! You can smash the high score in your favourite game while making a real difference for animals. Maybe you’re a pro chef or a crafty artist or you just love to chat it up. Let your creativity run wild!

  Wanna flex your animal activism while streaming? Consider livestreaming a vegan cooking demo, introducing your adopted animal companion, reviewing an animal-themed book, sharing your cruelty-free skincare routine, or discussing an action alert for a campaign and why it’s so important to you.

• Are there rules that livestreams must follow?
  We want your stream to be a chill spot for everyone, so keep it respectful from start to finish. No swearing, explicit stuff, or offensive and hateful language, alright? And remember, illegal activities are a big no-no while you’re repping the Stream for Animals. If your stream doesn’t follow these guidelines, we’ll have to bounce you from the squad.

• Can I dedicate my stream to a specific PETA programme or campaign?
  Hell, yeah! We encourage you to pick an area you’re passionate about and discuss it with your audience. Dig into our work and campaigns at PETA.org.uk for all the details.

• If I don’t livestream, are there other ways I can fundraise for PETA?
  Absolutely. You can turn anything into a fundraising mission. Pick a challenge you’re hyped about, create a dope fundraising page, and rally your squad – friends, family, and co-workers – to drop some cash. Join the PETA Pack, our team of animal rights fundraisers, and get support from our fundraising crew. If you’ve got questions, hit us up at [email protected].

• How do I fundraise through my Twitch livestream?
  Raising money for animals on Twitch is a piece of vegan cake!

  First, log in and hit up your Creator Dashboard, and select “Charity” from the menu on the left.

  

  Next, under the “Discovery” tab, search for “PETA”. We’ve got multiple PETA squads worldwide, so make sure you pick People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals Foundation (aka PETA UK). Once you find us, hit that “Create Fundraiser” button.

  

  Boom! You’re on the campaign creation page now. Set a goal for your fundraiser and let your community know what’s up. You can increase your goal any time before or during the campaign, but you can’t reduce it.

  Ready to roll? Click “Start Fundraiser” in the Charity section of your Creator Dashboard under the “My Fundraisers” tab. Only one campaign can be active at a time, and when your fundraiser is live you’ll see a confirmation message at the top of the page.

  Stay in the loop by filtering and checking donations in your activity feed. Enable “Charity Donations” to see who’s giving what, so you can show some love and gratitude to your generous supporters. Let’s make it rain for animals!
