Woody Harrelson Inspired This ‘Stranger Things’ Star to Go Vegan
If you’re anything like the millions of people who loved the first two seasons of Netflix’s original series Stranger Things, you’re probably about to binge-watch the much-anticipated third season. While there’s tons to love about Maxine “Max” Mayfield, one of the show’s protagonists, delight in knowing that off screen, actor Sadie Sink is vegan.

In an interview, Sadie called herself a “passionate vegan” and said that her favourite documentary is Blackfish. She was vegetarian for roughly a year, but while working on the film The Glass Castle, Woody Harrelson and his family influenced her to go vegan.

Sadie admitted that at one time in her compassionate journey, she longed for her favourite childhood dish, chicken and waffles. But she was thrilled to find a delicious vegan version while filming season 2 of Stranger Things – which goes to show that nowadays, everything can be made vegan!
