Wagamama Launches New Vegan Menu
Popular Japanese chain restaurant Wagamama has just released an impressive new vegan menu to meet the growing demand for plant-based food.
The menu includes a brand-new ramen dish, kare burosu, featuring mixed mushrooms in a curried broth with shichimi-coated tofu. The restaurant also just won a Vegan Food Award from PETA for its yasai samla lemongrass, coconut, and tofu curry.
Diners can enjoy favourites from the menu such as yasai gyoza, pad thai, and yaki soba, now with the added bonus of not having to ask for substitutions or an ingredient list.
You can view the full menu here. Wagamama’s customer director, Emma Woods, said of the new menu:
Our first ever dedicated vegan and vegetarian menu can be the starting point to support a vegan lifestyle choice. From its October launch, we will be listening to our fans to make sure we are constantly adapting and innovating to meet customer desires and a modern lifestyle.
This fantastic move from Wagamama proves that big restaurant chains are adapting to the demand for exciting vegan dishes. Now’s a great time to get in touch with the company and tell it what you think of the new plant-based options.
