Humans have bred pugs to inherit unnatural features that cause painful health conditions. No pug – or any other dog – should endure a lifetime of suffering.

Ahead of Crufts, the world’s largest dog show, PETA is calling on the Kennel Club to stop promoting the unethical breeding of pugs, French bulldogs, and other flat-faced breeds by removing them from the show.

By banning images of pugs and French bulldogs, Moonpig is helping to put an end to the promotion of dog breeds with painful, life-threatening deformities.

The Netherlands has banned the breeding of flat-faced dogs and is set to implement a ban on acquiring them or posting images of them on social media.
