The Kennel Club must stop promoting the breeding of dogs, especially those who can’t breathe, through its twisted canine beauty pageant.

Ahead of Crufts, the world’s largest dog show, PETA is calling on the Kennel Club to stop promoting the unethical breeding of pugs, French bulldogs, and other flat-faced breeds by removing them from the show.

By banning images of pugs and French bulldogs, Moonpig is helping to put an end to the promotion of dog breeds with painful, life-threatening deformities.

Wire-haired dachshund Maisie has been named the Crufts 2020 Best in Show winner – but that’s nothing to celebrate.

TV vet Emma Milne and over a dozen other veterinary professionals highlight the consequences of cruelly breeding dogs for exaggerated physical features.
