KT Tunstall Shames KFC
KT Tunstall – the best-selling UK female artist of 2005 – has taken a stand against the horrific abuse of chickens that takes place behind the doors of KFC’s suppliers.
KT sent a letter to KFC’s Scottish restaurants demanding that it make a change in the way its suppliers treat the chickens who are raised for KFC restaurants.
This isn’t the first time that KT has spoken out on issues close to her heart. When a meat company recently asked KT if it could use one of her songs in an advertising campaign in exchange for a lot of money, KT flatly refused!
The Colonel has something to hide – that each leg, wing and breast of chicken sold at KFC restaurants is produced in horrifically cruel ways. More than 850 million chickens are tortured and killed each year for KFC, and KFC executives don’t lift a finger to change their suppliers’ practices. If KFC’s executives treated dogs and cats the same way the chickens killed for their restaurants are treated, they’d be thrown in jail.
Join KT Tunstall and PETA on our quest to get KFC to demand a change from its suppliers. Boycott KFC until it stops selling birds who have had their wings and legs broken, their throats cut, and their bodies dunked into tanks of scalding-hot water while they are still alive and able to feel pain.
