The World’s First Carbon Footprint Analysis of … a Pizza?
Can eating a pizza help save the planet this Earth Day? Yes, it can. Your daily choices matter more than you think.
To help pizza lovers everywhere make a more sustainable choice, Papa Johns has teamed up with PETA to commission what may be the world’s first carbon footprint analysis of pizza.
Leading sustainability consultants Bioregional have analysed the environmental footprint of the Papa Johns Vegan Works pizza. The analysis found that producing it uses 36% less water and 65% less land and emits 58% fewer greenhouse gases than a meat and dairy pizza, while offering 100% of the taste!
We already knew the Papa Johns Vegan Works, made with Jack & Bry’s jackfruit pepperoni, was a winner. Now, we can confirm that it’s a better choice for the planet, too. Add some Ben & Jerry’s Save Our Swirled NOW! vegan ice cream to your order and you’ll wish every day was Earth Day!
Combatting the climate emergency has never been so delicious: Papa Johns is offering 40% off its entire vegan range for Earth Day with a promo code ‘EARTHDAY’ – visit here. As part of its sustainability strategy, Papa Johns is committed to expanding its awesome range of vegan options.
