Donate Your Fur to PETA
Your Unwanted Furs Could Help People in Need – and Clear Your Conscience!
Fashion-conscious and compassionate people wouldn’t be caught dead in fur these days. However, that can present a problem – just how do you get rid of those unwanted furs?
Well, instead of letting that outmoded garment rot in storage – fur is dead skin and hair after all – or shoving it to the back of your wardrobe in shame, why not pack it up and send it over to the PETA office?
You might be wondering what PETA could possibly want with your old furs. Well, your donation could help a person in need. The only people who have any excuse for wearing old furs are those who cannot afford to buy their own coat and are at risk of freezing to death. We send your donations to the homeless, refugees, and people in war-torn areas to help keep them warm in the winter months.
From wardrobes to war zones, you can follow some of PETA’s fur coat shipments here.
We can’t bring back the animals who suffered for these coats, but we can use old furs to help humans who desperately need them.
Fur farms are hellholes for millions of animals every year. PETA exposés have shone a light on the appalling conditions animals are forced to live and die in. Foxes, minks, rabbits, and chinchillas are confined to tiny wire cages caked in faeces and filth. They can often be seen pacing back and forth, which is a sign of captivity-induced madness. Each animal suffers a horrific death as they are either anally electrocuted or their heads or chests are crushed – common slaughter methods used to avoid damaging their fur.
In light of all this, the only question that remains is, “Who would ever want to wear fur again?” Clear your closet – and your conscience – by sending your unwanted furs to the following address:
