Wearing a faux-fur coat made of “dead” cuddly toy cats, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star Scaredy Kat teams up with PETA to urge fans to “sashay away” from leather, feathers, and fur.
Scaredy Kat is outspoken about animal rights, taking part in climate change demonstrations to urge people to go vegan, participating in the Animal Rights March in London, and using her large social media platform to speak up for animals – this queen knows how to give animals the royal treatment!
Now, she talks vegan fashion in an exclusive video interview with PETA:
She calls out how cruel it is that birds are plucked alive for their feathers, cows are skinned for leather, and foxes, rabbits, and other animals are tortured for their fur:
“You wouldn’t kill your cat and put it on a coat, so why should you kill a fox or, like, a mink or anything else? Because there’s not really any difference.”
