£1,000 REWARD OFFERED TO HELP FIND SAVAGE THUGS WHO KICKED CAT TO DEATH
Group Warns That Animal Abusers Are a Serious Threat to Whole Community and Likely to Escalate Behaviour Unless Stopped
Shepway, Maidstone – PETA is offering a reward of up to £1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for violently trampling and kicking Salum, a 3-year-old cat, to death. The incident occurred on a road near his family’s home in Shepway on the evening of Tuesday, 10 November. The teenage boy who found Salum said that he saw a group of youths attacking the cat.
Would you please share this information with your audience to help apprehend those responsible for this cruel act?
“It is imperative that any community faced with sadistic and violent act like this take measures to find the culprits and bring them to justice”, says PETA Associate Director Elisa Allen. “Animal abusers are a danger to everyone – they take their issues out on whoever is available to them, human or non-human, and must be caught before they act again.”
History shows that past incidents involving cruelty to animals regularly appear in the records of serial rapists and murderers. Young killers Mary Bell, Robert Thompson and Jon Venables as well as serial murderers Ian Huntley, Thomas Hamilton (the Dunblane massacre), Fred West, Dennis Nilsen, Ian Brady and Raoul Moat all started out by deliberately harming animals.
Anyone with information about this case is encouraged to contact the Maidstone police on 101 or the RSPCA on 0300 1234 999
