Tallinn – Wearing nothing but strategically placed lettuce leaves, PETA’s sexy vegetarian Lettuce Ladies and activists, handing out vegetarian starter kits and waving signs that read, “Turn Over a New Leaf: Go Vegetarian!” are headed to Tallinn:

The billions of animals killed for food in Europe aren’t the only ones who suffer because of meat consumption. Consumers who overindulge in meat burgers, hot dogs, steaks and dairy foods also pay a high price, as consumption of animal products has been linked to heart disease, strokes, obesity, diabetes and various types of cancer.

“I’m asking people to turn over a new leaf and go vegetarian”, says PETA Lettuce Lady Anita Singh. “A vegetarian diet is good for you, good for animals, good for the Earth and good for your taste buds too!”

PETA’s Lettuce Ladies have previously appeared at fast-food restaurants, festivals and airports such as Barcelona, London and Southeast Asia, and they have hosted all-vegetarian parties for legislators on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, in the US.
